In his new position, Junghahn will oversee Nomacorc’s commercial and strategic efforts in South America. He will be responsible for leading growth in the region and will report to Jay Cummins, vice president of global sales.
“Junghahn’s extensive background in multinational marketing, combined with his success in managing sales for the alcoholic beverage industry in South America, made him the ideal candidate for this position,” said Cummins.
Junghahn joins Nomacorc from Spectrum Brands, where he served as the general manager of Latin America and grew company sales and gross profits more than 20 percent. Before working for Spectrum, he worked for seven years leading sales and marketing in various positions for Diageo PLC in Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. He has also represented Swedish Match Corporation with positions in Europe, South America and the United States.
